PBIS: Positive Behavior Support and Interventions

A poster with the words 'Stevenson Ranch Wranglers' and 'Always Remember Their BOOTS' with the letters spelling out 'Be Respectful, Own your Actions, Operate Safely, Think Kindly, Strive for Success'.

Our PBIS program establishes expectations and provides supports to our students as members of our school community!

Keeping with our school mascot of Wranglers, our PBIS acronym spells BOOTS: Be Respectful, Own Your Actions, Operate Safely, Think Kindly, and Strive for Success.

This year there are a number of rewards and incentives that students are able to work toward and purchase as part of the PBIS program. Some incentives will be school-wide. Rewards can be purchased with their earned individual tickets. These tickets are earned by students for showing positive conduct, setting a good example, and for participating in student services (such as a student valet or peer mentor).  The tickets can be used as currency around campus for some of the following rewards:

  • The Boots Trolley (TK-6th grade students use their tickets to purchase items)

  • Participation in school experiences

Once a month, students will have the opportunity to shop at the Boots Trolley with their earned tickets. Students have the option to pick from a variety of items or school experiences.

Attendance

Students can only learn from us when they are in school.  Students earn perfect attendance by being at school, on-time, each day.

We celebrate perfect attendance

  • Top three classes host our monthly traveling attendance trophy
  • Top three classes are recognized at our monthly PBIS "Boots Bash"
