5th Grade: Becoming an Author - Students dive into the art of storytelling by developing plots and writing collaborative narratives. Their stories come to life as published books and exciting read-aloud videos, inspired by the magic of Storyline Online.

From 2017-2024, 5^th Graders Became Newspaper Journalists:

Fifth grade students learn about journalism by researching and writing articles for their own newspaper, The SRE Sentinel.

New this 2025-2026 school-year:

In May, each 5th grade family will receive a published book copy and read-aloud videos will be posted here! Stay tuned!
